This quaint cabin rests on the backwaters of the Mississippi, minutes from beautiful downtown Red Wing, Mn and 45 min from the Twin Cities. Enjoy the serenity of an early morning sunrise on the deck, walk along the water or a nighttime bonfire. This place is a perfect get away for folks who love the outdoors or that just need a beautiful destination to relax. This cabin features a queen bed and a futon in the living room that folds into a double bed. You can enjoy steaks on the grill or have the convenience of pizza delivery. Walk down to the riverside fire pit and enjoy s'mores around the fire. Fishing enthusiasts, bring a pole or even land your boat on the beach. The back channel boat landing is mere 2 miles away. Splash the boat and pull right up to shore. The backwaters are also a great place to paddle kayaks or a canoe. Note: Our cabin is located on Mississippi River floodplain. If you are booking April/May or Oct/Nov there is a small chance that your stay may be affected by river level. We monitor river levels and will provide you with that information ASAP. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating to requests. Appreciated the amenities like air conditioning and. And some basic pantry items.
