"This house was perfect! We had plenty of space for everyone. The beds were comfy. Everything was clean and ready to go for our stay. The porch dock is really nice to sit out on. Would rent again. The only problem we had was the size of the driveway but we were able to fit five cars. Just something to be aware of for a bigger group. This was also only a 15 minute drive to Downtown Clayton which was super convenient. "

"This was the perfect place for spring break. The cabin's setting offers a beautiful view of Lake Burton and it's a short drive to restaurants and shops in both Clayton and Clarkesville. We loved the hot tub and gas fireplace, which proved handy on chilly nights. The kitchen was well appointed and spacious, and the bathrooms are updated and clean. In fact, this was one of the cleanest rental properties we've stayed in through the years. The staff was extremely helpful and communicated well. We highly recommend the Overlook at Lake Burton."

"Beautiful lake cottage! The screened in top deck is where we spent most of our time. We rented this place for my birthday weekend, and the host had a Happy Birthday banner hanging on the fireplace when we arrived. Such a thoughtful touch! We highly recommend this place, and hope to stay again sometime. "

"It was great to experience tiny house living. Only problem was no place for clothing and difficult to watch tv from the angle of the couch. Otherwise it was fun. "

"This was the ideal staycation of all staycation. I felt the slightest twinge of guilt having the place all to ourselves on the weekend before it all gets incredibly busy, but I got over that real quick. Sorry, not sorry, we lucked out. This was dreamy from decorations to decor to ambience: 1. Gorgeous inside & out 2. The most impressive little touches of love and care and hospitality all over the place, too many to count, you'll have to go see for yourself. 3. Close to outdoor adventure, not to mention a trail on property and our room overlooking a waterfall mere steps away. 4. Provisions for smores, snacks left out for us, the cleanest rooms ever. 5. And a book with a bunch of local things to do which were plenty, including G.O.A.T & Lady Bug Landing;) so precious & fun! The staff was very conscientious and helpful, most definitely coming back!"
