"House has a gorgeous view of trees and Lake Burton in the distance. All rooms were very clean and functional. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage, as well as Bleu Canoe restaurant, and downtown Clayton restaurants and shops did not disappoint.A few things we did come across:King size bed in master bedroom is very soft and lacks support. You can actually feel the springs on each side of the bed. Quite worn.No hairdryer that we could find. Fire pit was full of water and burnt logs had been left in it.No cushions for outdoor seating. No coffee filters provided. I came prepared but it would be nice to provide so guest doesn’t have to drive to town.Jet Button # 3 on hot tub did not seem to work. Outdoor doormat outside of front door was waterlogged when we arrived. Might make more sense to actually have an indoor mat also located just inside the door."

"We enjoyed our 4 day stay, It was a momma daughter getaway. We had our coffee on the porch together every morning, listening to the birds and enjoying the amazing view of so many beautiful trees, surrounding the hideaway cabin. We will definitely stay here again."

"I was able to add my dogs last minute with a simple ask and 25 bucks! I really appreciated the ease of communication! The views from the porch and kitchen were exactly what I was looking for! I would stay again if able, but I let the fire table cushions get rained on, breaking one of the cardinal rules of the house. This is my first time renting a home like this and couldn't have asked for an easier experience! Thanks so much, Mr. Swann! I left some dog food under the sink, sorry for that too."

"The host which is a rental company was wonderful to work with. The location of Lake Burton is very special. The cabin itself needs some serious TLC and that is on the owners. I hope they will make the improvements so that this cabin can be enjoyed and be a good overall experience."
