"We just needed a quick get away. Just an overnight but very relaxing. We were blessed with a full lake, great weather and respectful neighbors. "We stayed here over the 4th of July weekend. The house is very well maintained and had everything we might need! The hosts are incredible and responsive if anything came up. And when they warn about the stickers on the walk to the lake, they aren’t joking! Those stickers are awful. But overall, we had a really great time. It ended up raining pretty much the whole time we were there, but we made great use of the card games that were provided! Would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!"
"Beautiful location on Lake Buchanan. We saw spectacular sunsets from our room, which had a back door to enjoy the lakefront. The room was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchenette - sink, full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, regular coffee maker, Keurig coffee pod machine, stovetop burners, and even a cute s’more kit in the fridge to use with the patio grill. The property had a lovely covered dock with porch swings to enjoy the lake and a covered picnic table area, as well as a swimming dock and boat loading area. We were sad to leave. "
"We loved our stay! The views and quiet location are exactly what we needed. I was delighted to wake up to views of the lake in the morning. The unique design of the place allows you to see the water from the master bed. I enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the deck and more relaxing time with water views. The water isn’t close to the house, but the walk isn’t far and there was lots of space for the kids (and the dog) to explore. We used the water craft and life vests in the shed and had a lot of fun with them! But bring good shoes, there are a lot of sand spurs on the way down. There is a wonderful, secluded, country feel to the location. There’s tons of wildlife around the house (birds and deer) and in the mornings I could hear cows and a rooster in the distance. The beds were comfortable and we loved the new cookware and coffee maker in the kitchen. We would stay here again! "
