You know what?I really loved our stay at the thunderbird lodge.I've seen a couple negative reviews. And i may have put three stars on maintenance and useful amenities. But that doesn't mean I didn't enjoy my stay as much as I absolutely could.They had a full kitchen, so we didn't have a grill outside like most cabins . But we had a full kitchen a walk in pantry with two fridges two freezers a ton of shelf space a massive patio ride on the lake?It was absolutely beautiful.The staff was super helpful. Apparently, the grounds are haunted so super fun .

The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed! It was quiet at night and we all slept like a baby! We went hiking around the lakes in the area but didn’t do any water activities. When the water level is up in Lake Buchanan, we will be coming back! Definitely recommend staying here!!

Great location, comfortable bed!

The location of the Thunderbird Cabin was perfect for my plans that involved a night time trail run at Spider Mountain. Couldnt be a better location. I was SO GLAD for the very clean, comfortable, and cute enough accommodations. The staff I worked with to make reservations, find my way and to problem solve were super helpful and very friendly.

Our cabin at the Thunderbird Lodge was perfect for our short vacation at Spider Mountain. Easy to check in after hours, spacious accommodations, beautiful property, and a short bike ride to the lift and walk to hiking. Front office was super friendly. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
