"We very much enjoyed our visit to Ladysmith and the surrounding area. The home was a wonderful base for our explorations and well equipped with everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. It was a lovely stay. Amazing ocean views from common areas and hosts had perfect balance of friendly but not hovering.
Bed was extremely comfortable and luxurious and fluffy cream towels in ensuite.

Love this hotel!!! It’s such a good deal. We got an amazing large room with view. It’s in the perfect location, close to the harbour, theatre, downtown shop and cute restaurants. We could walk anywhere we needed to go. The room was clean, looks new and had big comfy beds. The hotel is quiet and feels safe. The staff was very friendly. They even called up to our room after check-in to make sure we had all we needed. Will definitely stay here again and would recommend to others!

Cari was the one who received us at the main entrance and explained everything well and she even helped us with walk through of other suites as well when we asked how other room look (no guests checked in at that time). We're spellbound by the views, you dont get to see them from any hotel in Nanaimo i believe. It's a homely atmosphere completely and great location! We met Charles while checking out he's very cool too....

We stayed here during the BC Bike Race (2026) and couldn't have been happier. The staff were courteous and helpful; our main floor room made for easy access, parking was easy, and there was a hose in the lot to clean the bike before moving it indoors.
