"The room was not clean. There was dirt on the light switches and other high touch areas, and the bathroom wasn't properly cleaned. There was dirt under the bed.The shower head needed replacing and the bedspreads and blankets had seen better days. Outside the side door, there were hundreds of cigarette butts on the ground."

"The home was as advertised. Very comfortable and the perfect spot to explore the area."

"Un magnifique séjour dans une immense maison chaleureuse ancestrale. La maison vaut vraiment le détour avec ses nombreuses pièces. La propreté était également au rendez-vous dans chacune des pièces. Le spa est un plus avec la vue sur la magnifique rivière St-Anne. Nous allons assurément y retourner!"

"Rooms could be cleaner. Some leftover stuff on the fridge from previous guests. Beds were huge and the room is spacious. The shower curtain in the bathroom are too long. Overall was not so bad. You get what you get for the price. The free breakfast was great though. They had cereal, coffee, tea, toast, and muffins. The staff were very friendly. Area was quiet. Would book again. "

"The view alone would be reason enough to stay at this wonderful property, but we also adored the beautiful house, charming village, excellent hiking within a reasonable drive (rivière du chene, rivière gentilly, and the national Parc mauricie), and of course the hot tub. Excellent, we’ll be back!"
