The layout of the condo is perfect and all furniture is so comfy - we almost didn’t want to leave to go explore the island. The hosts were incredibly responsive with a few minor questions we had. "We loved the lovely view from our room and the friendly and informative staff. The wild roosters and peacocks were noisy in the mornings but we found it more amusing than annoying. The continental breakfast was simple: fresh fruit, bagels, muffins, croissants, cereal, yogurt, coffee, tea and the like. One hazard was the aggressive chickens stealing food from the outdoor tables; we found that it was best to have no empty chairs near the table for them to use to get on the table. This older-style hotel was a good base for exploring Kaua'i. Beach towels, chairs and umbrellas can be checked out, although there really wasn't a beach easily accessible from the hotel (twenty-five minute walk and hard to find). Overall, we wished that we had stayed longer! "

"Great pools and clean property overall, however the Nene geese leave a lot of poop on grass and pools areas. Clean up is done by staff daily, however one day near building 3 the pool deck was filled with poop and not cleaned for quite some time even with a call to the front desk. Restaurant is decent, but during our late February early march stay, there was no breakfast served at the sit down restaurant. Studio was great with a full kitchen and we had an ocean view room. Wonderful views with our am coffee on the terrace. Walking areas were wonderful as well, for those who love to walk. "
