"We got the breakfast and dinner option which worked out well especially because many of the restaurants in the small town were closed on the Tuesday we were there. The public bath was first rate. "

This hotel is fine for family groups and those who like regimented experiences but not for travellers wanting an more memorable onsen experience"

"This property was the ice cream to our trip- the property was beautifully built, maintained and allows for the best possible mountain view from the base. The service was beyond attentive and the room was like out of a magazine. If you’ve got the money- splurge and do it! Watching the first snow fall from the panoramic windows was one of the highlights of our trip! "

"Chalet is gorgeous, looks brand new, very warm, plenty of room, well stocked kitchen & Jason even stocked the fridge with breakfast supplies for the first day as we arrived late. "The accommodation was amazing. The cottage itself was large and spacious but still warm and cozy. All the windows had amazing views of the snow. It was a few minutes walk from Iwatake gondola and ski rentals. The runs down from iwatake were some of my favourites.
The host Yutaka was great and met us at the station and dropped us off. We didnt have a car so this really helped us.
We absolutely loved the place.
If you are not driving you can get the hakuba valley shuttle buses to most places...

"This hotel is a giant log house, situated in a beautiful street of similar buildings. Nothing beats waking up to fresh snow falling outside your window (massive glass windows) and sipping on a hot cup of tea. The room was very cosy and comfortable! I had the best sleeps here. After a hard day of snow boarding, coming back to just sit in front of the fire, watch the snow fall, have a bath or have drinks with friends in the common area was absolutely amazing!! Wish I never had to leave! 10/10!!!! "
