Nestled in Gold Country, this historic mining town invites visitors to explore the Kennedy Mine and wander Main Street's Victorian charm. Sip local wines at Amador County vineyards and hike nearby trails where rangers know which routes offer the best wildflower displays in spring.
Breakfast at this inn was very good...the gathering area in the lobby was cozy and comfortable. Our room (corner suite) was ample sized and the staff welcoming. Wish there was an elevator....long trip with lots of luggage and tough to carry up two flights of stairs! Wineries are very close as well. Oh, each evening they have a wine tasting in the lobby...very nice!!

Cute hotel in Sutter Creek. Feels like the original elegant old building, remodelled but lots of character. Very clean, good service, Keurigs in room and coffee in lobby, parking out back. Room was quite small. We spent the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. The town was busy until about 4pm then everything closed and was very quiet. We had wine in the lounge then dinner in the pub right across the street and sat on the hotel 2nd floor balcony drinking wine until late. Nice area to drive...

The staff were warm, polite and accommodating. The rooms were clean and spacious and had all we needed. The location was a pleasant walk from downtown, where we had an excellent meal.
The weather was perfect too.
