« Good location. Easy walk to dining and transportation. They could leave instructions on how to use washer/dryer but otherwise everything was fine. It is a basement unit and the last night the people above us made a lot noise but that’s not anything the owner can control. Nice size using and close to dining and shopping. It does not have AC - not a complaint but just for information. It would have been nice to have had a fan. »

« Apartment was in a good location, near to several bus routes. Quite location. On entering apartment there were a few disappointments namely: soiled and torn carpet, damaged patch on living room wall, broken floor tile in bathroom, kitchen blind broken, short of crockery, only one wine glass, spare duvet soiled and no cover on it. Generally in need of some repairs. Expensive for four days but it was during The Fringe, any other time wouldn’t be happy to pay £1200+ for four days for this...

"J’ai eu la chance de séjourner une semaine à l’Apex Hotel Waterloo Place, et je mesure mes mots ! Ma chambre offrait une vue magnifique sur la ville, un vrai plaisir de se réveiller chaque matin avec cette vue. Mais ce qui a vraiment fait la différence, c’est le personnel : disponible, chaleureux, à l’écoute du moindre besoin. On sentait une réelle attention portée aux clients, avec beaucoup de gentillesse et de professionnalisme. Merci à toute l’équipe pour ce bel accueil, et surtout au jeune homme qui s’est occupé de mon arrivée, et du suivi de mon séjour ! I was fortunate enough to spend a week at the Apex Hotel Waterloo Place, and I mean every word of what I’m about to say! My room offered a really beautiful view over the city, a real pleasure to wake up to each morning. But what truly made the difference was the staff: attentive, warm, and always ready to help with any need. There was a genuine sense of care for guests, combined with real kindness and professionalism. Thank you to the whole team for such a warm welcome, and especially to the young man who took care of my arrival and looked after my stay throughout!"

"L’hôtel est sympa et superbement placé à Grassmarket et proche de tout. Certains personnes à l’accueil sont très bien mais d’autres passent du temps à bavarder en renseigner certes d’autres clients mais on attend longtemps sans que la personne soit alertée. Le matin on m’a fait patienter pour la salle de sport qui ouvrait dans 5 minutes et la personne juste derrière moi qui venait pour la même chose se voit attribuer la carte d’accès avec une autre personne de la réception….sinon le personnel au breakfast est très bien et le buffet est très bien. Les chambres n’ont pas de climatisation et il fait très chaud malgré le fait que l’hôtel fournisse des ventilateurs. Bref cela reste un bon séjour"

"Idéalement situé entre l'aéroport et le centre ville parking limité mais accès privilégié à celui du zoo mitoyen si nécessaire. Excellent petit dejeuner. Semble familiale un peu petite. Peu de rangement et salle de bains petite sans rangement pour les affaires de toilette, dommage. Hotel cependant présentant un excellent compromis service/prix"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à l'hôtel village. Tant au niveau de la chambre que des infrastructures. Super espace détente avec le spa et la salle de sport surtout après une bonne journée de randonnée, et puis le restaurant et vraiment top. Le personnel est vraiment super et toujours à l'écoute. Je recommande vraiment cet établissement. J'y retournerai."
