"This is an idyllic place to stay, away from the crowds, on a wooded hillside surrounded by nature. The hosts, Heidi and Johannes, were very welcoming. The accommodation was very clean and had everything we needed. It is a short drive to Tavira, which has a good selection of cafés and restaurants and the nearby village of Santa Catarina da Fonte do Bispo also has a small convenience store. The location is perfect, both for access to beaches and for hiking in the hills."

"The bungalow and its grounds were spacious, well equipped for the heat, with options to have shade - very necessary when it was 33C! The pool was fantastic! We self-catered the whole of our stay - so found the kitchen to be very well equipped. Comfortable beds, sofas etc, with plenty of spare cushions, towels etc. The owner's father responded quickly to any queries we had. All in all, a lovely holiday! Thankyou, Humberto!"

"Maria is a welcoming and very helpful host. The accommodation is a sprawling and spacious two bedroom ground floor apartment with immediate access to the Praca do Republica. It is very well equipped. There is a very pleasant, private garden, which was a great place to relax in the evening. A great balance between cosy and comfortable. There were lots of mosquitoes in the area at the time of our visit but Maria guided us to ways to minimize them. There is free parking nearby."

"I booked Fabiennes and HPs house for our holiday with my elderly parents. It was everything we hoped for. The house is very spacious and tranquil. It has everything you need, including very comfortable beds and even kitchen basics like oil . We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace every morning. "We enjoyed our beach Christmas. We loved walking over to the 2 cafes. Plenty of blankets to snuggle in at night. Plenty of dining options even in the off season. Easy to get to by Uber or ferry, there is also a bus but the construction on the bridge means the stop is far away. For Uber, make sure you look at google maps so you can get from the street to the house easily. Once you’ve done it it’s easy but the first time in the dark can be fun!
