"Peaceful location, plenty of room and amenities"

"It was a beautiful property with lots of games and great access to the beach."

"This is what we really enjoyed about the property; very quiet, private, rustic-type cabin, beautiful porch to sit and look at the water and the sunset, large yard with lots of birds and animals to appreciate, peaceful. Really tied into nature. The energy is very good here. We had fun going down the steps to the beach going swimming. We would come back in a heartbeat. Do remember your sheets and towels. "

"This cottage was indeed a great getaway cottage. Plenty of room, quality amenities, great spacious kitchen, and the hot tub was a treat. The beds were comfortable too."

"Not very much sitting room for 12 people"

"Host was quick to respond to questions. Pictures were accurate and the location of house was great!"

"This is a very spacious, clean and cozy cottage very close to the beach ! Central air, comfortable beds / couch the Smart Tv, washer, dryer and dishwasher was a huge plus. They have all of the essentials ! Wilson is very quick to respond with any questions. We had a great vacation away and hope to stay again in the future."

"Sunset Ridge is absolutely stunning. The pictures (even though beautiful) still don't do this property justice. We stayed as a family of eight and as seasoned cottage renters, this was easily the best cottage experience we've had. Highlights included to stunning Lake Huron views, the sprawling grounds, an outdoor deck fit for royalty and all of the supplies you could ever want for a peaceful getaway from city life. Our family cannot thank Jennifer and Shauna enough for a stay we will remember...

"The only house with a pool in Grand Bend so you have your choice of your own pool or the beach."

"Plenty of space for 6 of us. Very clean. Beautiful sunsets.Property manager returned calls promptly. Pleasant to deal with."

"The cottage is just as pictured in photos, large open downstairs, nice patio with lakeview and GREAT beach. Upstairs can get VERY hot and the track coming in is super muddy but we had a great time there."

"Well kept property, amazing views of the lake, spacious with good amenities. Easy access to beach with great views of the sunset."

"We had a great time, despite a few points. 1) Some rooms pictured on the ad are not in the building. 2) Host lives in main floor apartment that is connected to the rest of the rental space. Our impression was with a Vrbo rental was that we would have the whole cottage to ourselves."

"Great stay at Sunset at SchadeView, booked through cottagestays.ca in July 2026. We've booked 20+ cottages over the years and this one was easily one of the best. Jennifer and Cassie really made the difference, such a smooth rental process, very efficient answers to all of our many questions. Cleanliness and quality of the beds, linens, towels, kitchen stuff all really good. 2 huge TVs, nice bluetooth speaker in living room, fast internet good for streaming. Location of Sunset at SchadeView was...

"Our stay was very peaceful and quiet. The lake was beautiful with plenty of things to do. Would stay there again."

"It was a great cottage and location for rest and relaxation. Interaction with our host was great in advance, and during our stay. It was the best experience I have ever had with a cottage rental, and the personalized treat waiting for our dog was a perfect start to our trip."

"Wonderful cottage to kick back and relax. Pictures dont do justice to this cottage! Relax and let the quiet sink in. "

"Great location, good space and pet friendly."

"The cottage is really cute, the kitchen is well-stocked and the deck is awesome! We loved hearing the sound of the waves!"

"This cabin was a gem. We had rainy weather, but still was able to enjoy the beach and time outside. The cabin was just as described. We did have to message the host remind them to send along check-in information, but she responded promptly. We would definitely go back!"
