"What a great time! The A Frame is everything it’s claimed to be and more. Beautiful outdoor space, charming seaside decor, and a full kitchen for those who like to cook. The staircase leading to the beach is definitely for the sure-footed, but our group was up for the adventure and made several trips down there—watch your step! The welcome package had everything we needed prior to our arrival, so all that was left to do was enjoy. Thanks to Gavin and Laura for a great experience."

"Fantastic last minute find after our initial booking was cancelled. We absoutley loved the little village of Bayfield. We enjoyed our early morning bike rides to Clan Gregor Square and Pioneer Park in the afternoon to watch the sunset. The cottage had everything we needed to make our stay away from home perfect. We are looking forward to coming back that way soon. Jackie, Ed & Callum"

"Our trip to the “Poplar Woods” was a perfect getaway for the US Memorial weekend with friends. Driving top down to the beach and hitting all the familiar shops was topped off by the perfect cottage that offered upscale accommodations with a homey atmosphere. The setting was so nicely tucked into the woods, but not so remote that a quick easy walk to town wasn’t possible. Every possible detail was thought of and executed without feeling overdone. We will definitely return."

The cabin provided enough space for personal privacy while allowing time to socialize and nurture friendship. We spent a lot of time touring the Huron region and always felt excited to return to our rustic oasis. Leslie was always quick to answer our communication and created a welcoming environment. "First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...

"This cottage is styled so beautifully - with calming neutral tones & vintage finds. The stone fireplace was nice to have (and pretty to look at) on the chilly nights. "This property is a dog owners dream! Huge fenced backyard so you don't have to have your pup on leash all the time and we had access to a private beach which my bulldog loved. We used the beach daily and never ran into another person on it. The town of Bayfield has water bowls for dogs outside most shops and again our bulldog was welcome most places in town. All of this made vacationing with our dog really easy - which was initially a worry of ours when booking time away from home."

"Was a beautiful property nice beach although the stairs going down to it were dangerous they need to be rebuilt also bbq tanks were empty cost me 40 dollars to get a tank One of my friends stepped on a fastener going down steps it went through his shoe and into his foot overall it was a great stay"
