« We had a lovely stay at the great little cottage! It’s a quaint cottage that has all you need, and has a great view of the lake. Getting down to the water is a bit of a walk, and it’s a stone beach, so if you are looking to swim, I would reccomend driving to the Goderich beach. All in all, a great little spot for a getaway! Host was great, good communication and very accommodating. »

« Black’s Point Cottage is indeed a Happy Place, a serene and charming retreat. It is very clean, cozy and thoughtfully decorated, with full attention to detail. « Remote and quiet. Great for getting away from everything. The beach was 5 minutes away, and we had it to ourselves. The outdoor space was well thought out, and the bunkie was a nice hang out space, even if you don't need it for sleeping space. Only downside, and nothing the owners can control, is sulfur well water. The owners provide a filter, which helps, but consider bringing some drinking water. »

« First off, the listing is not accurate - it states "5 bedrooms", it's 3 bedrooms, a sunroom and a loft. As well two bed pictures in the listing were not in the space we rented - this should be fixed. One of the "queen beds" was actually two box springs and a 2 inch foam piece - not even remotely useable. The kitchen is well equipped, but when we got there 2 of the 3 pot lights over the sink as well as the light over the stove was out-we replaced what we could. The space is large for sure, but...
