In-Town Luxury 2 Br Apartment - 205 S. 4th Street

"We absolutely loved it. David was great! Easy to communicate with and get ahold of, the property and check in instructions were clear. Snacks and drinks were provided which was really nice. The apartment was the perfect size, right in downtown Highlands. We rode motorcycles down and it was the perfect base for exploring the area. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend."

"I loved this property. Everything was clean, there were plenty of towels, coffee, creamer, amenities, and I loved the vibe. My friend was afraid of bears so we didn't spend as much time outside as it is secluded and a dark drive uphill at night, but very close to town. Just have to be careful. The kitchen was charming with all of the lovely mugs and I enjoyed myself and slept well. This is a great stay for more people (there were only two of us), so game nights, a nice big table, etc.. would have been fun. If you're looking for seclusion but still close to town, this is a great place. Owners were lovely and answered all questions. I would recommend this place."

"The main thing about this house is the beautiful view although to be up high you naturally had to drive up there. I would suggest to definitely get there in daytime as the road is gravel and winding and long. This house is part of a camp which was not in session when we were there. The entrance is right across from the office by a small boardwalk. The office is where you check in and we did have a little confusion with the host with communication, but she was very nice and helpful when we connected. There are lots of windows facing the view and an ample living room and kitchen. They provided a Keurig when we asked for it. The price was much lower than surrounding places, the beds comfortable. The house is on several levels so you have to be comfortable with stairs. The house is generally not locked so no key provided but it could be locked from the inside. It felt quiet, peaceful and we left our windows open for the cool breeze although there is AC. The house was clean but trash not emptied in the kitchen. The library had a single bed but it wasn’t actually a bedroom and right off the dining room. The house was on an overlook so maybe not great for little kids. Overall us three ladies really enjoyed our one night stay. It was great to enjoy the cool mountain air! I would recommend if you are not looking for fancy, but a wonderful view and mountain feel. We hiked to Glen Falls which was strenuous coming back up but well worth it. Bridal Veil Falls, Dry Falls great."
