From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by the beauty and tranquility of the mountains. The cabin was spotless, tastefully decorated, and had all the cozy touches that made it feel like a home away from home. Having two master bedrooms is a plus since we were vacationing with another couple. The living area featured large windows that looked out over the forested hills, and we loved sipping coffee on the deck each morning while listening to the birds and quiet. The fireplace was perfect for the cool days and evenings, and the well-stocked kitchen made it easy to cook meals without ever wanting to leave.The location is ideal—peaceful and private, yet just a short drive from charming downtown Highlands with its boutique shops, restaurants, and waterfall hikes.Our hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful, leaving welcome detailed instructions for everything in the home. It’s clear they take pride in offering a top-notch experience.We’re already talking about booking another stay (this was our second stay in this home)-this rental truly made our weekend in Highlands one to remember. The house is perfect with two bedrooms, each with a king bed and a fantastic location where we could walk to town. We enjoyed having a full kitchen and access to a deck. Becky was easy to communicate with, and was truly a wonderful host. The house was very clean and looked to be recently renovated. It was a lovely stay and we will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking for a two bedroom in Highlands North Carolina. Becky offered us ideas of restaurants and places to hike all of which were perfect. ##### Kim K.
