"We had a very pleasant stay at the Warwick New York and overall were very happy with our experience. When we first arrived, there was an issue with our room, but the hotel handled it extremely well and resolved the situation in the best possible way. We truly appreciated how responsive and helpful the staff were, and this made a positive impression on us. The hotel is historic, so it does have an older feel. The bathrooms in particular may feel dated compared with what some guests might expect from a modern hotel. However, everything was clean, and overall we had an excellent and enjoyable stay. The one thing I would suggest improving is the policy of charging for almost every small additional service. For example, when we had a small package that we simply did not want to take up to our room at that moment, we were charged a fee to have the hotel hold it for us. We were also charged a fee to keep a small ice pack in the freezer for a few hours because it was needed to keep medication cold. Also we were charged when we asked to keep our luggages for few hours after our checkout. Of course, these are very small amounts compared with the cost of the room, and it is not really about the money itself. It is more about the feeling of being charged separately for small courtesies that, in our opinion, are part of good hospitality especially when a request is as simple as temporarily holding a small item or helping keep medication cold. Aside from this, we truly enjoyed our stay."

"This is an old hotel in NYC, so it has small rooms and is a bit funky but we really liked it. The rooms were clean. There was a pedestal sink in the bathroom (nice tile) so they had added a shelf for toiletries. The hot water was was a bit slow getting to the the 12th floor but it warmed up pretty quickly. The wall outlets were old and too loose for a phone charger but there was a charging station on the desk that works beautifully. The staff was extremely helpful and really seemed to want to make sure guests enjoyed their stay. The location is great. You can easily go to 96th street and catch a crosstown bus or an subway to go down or uptown. We would definitely consider staying there again."

"A great stay as always at Moxy's establishments. The rooms were spacious, the decor calming and the shower room fantastic. The location was also very good. However, the check-in could have been better; there was a queue of 6 people all with large suitcases blocking the lobby (including myself). And judging by the room prices the hotel could indeed afford to offer complimentary water in the rooms, instead of charging $7 for a bottle (Fuji or not)."
