"Clean room and friendly staff."

"I checked in to the Hyatt because I had surgery at a nearby hospital. Period the staff when I came in was very helpful and supportive. The problem started when we were placed in a room by the exit door, which is totally unacceptable for me then the room was over or close to something that made noise every 30 minutes, which wasn’t good for someone preparing for surgery the next day I called and requested a blanket and it never came. I left my glasses in the hotel room and filled out the form that they requested, and my son tried to pick up the glasses and the person who is in charge of housekeeping, evidently had a schedule that no one was aware of. I am just being honest because it is difficult to get credible help once they were able to locate and find out the schedule for the head of housekeeping. I assume things worked out. It just appeared that no one knew what the other person was doing. I am returning on June 1 for another surgery and I would appreciate having a better room location and a blanket as needed thank you in advance. I am just sharing information that I’m sure it would help other travelers and tourist."

"Usually this hotel is top notch. However this time there was dust on the tv base, dirt in the corner of the bathroom. Also our room was laid out poorly. The tv didn’t face the bed or the chair. Weird! "

"The property was extremely dated. The door did not close properly and had to be pushed shut with force. I did not see this at first but the bathroom had severe water damage above the mirror which caused my mold sensitivity to be worsened. The Location was great. I just wish there were a few updates. "

"It was beautiful, just not quite we were expecting for what we paid. I couldn’t find a shop for amenities. When I’d ask I always got around the corner. We had need up walking to the corner store which was a little shady. The rooftop bar was amazing and walking down to the river and water and then the boardwalk was beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the area was quiet."

"Perfect hotel in the heart of Georgetown. Beautifully decorated. Peaceful atmosphere. Excellent food and bar. Totally walkable options and activities. I flew in and did not have a car to park. Inquire about parking. For business or a couple it is a great place to stay. Teens and college age kids would enjoy as well."
