We didn’t spend much time in the house but it was a good base for us to explore the local area a bit and mostly spend time on the lake. Lake access is right across the street. The street isn’t too busy so we had no problem crossing down to the lake. Chairs, a fire pit and some kayaks and a canoe were provided by the lake. Views were great! Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are.
