Kitchen is small, but adequate. The front porch was very nice and relaxing - I wish I could’ve enjoyed it longer. I really have no complaints except that I didn’t book a longer stay! I brought up some extra kitchen stuff, but realized that I didn't need any of it because the kitchen is so well equipped. It's small, but very well designed, and it has pretty much everything you need. The decor is really cute and very Adirondack appropriate. Like most mountain cottages, it's small, but the lot is very well maintained, the porch is cute and comfortable and everything is laid out so well that it just works. The house was in a good location with only a 15 minute ride to Lake George and the town of Glens Falls. We walked the 3 mile loop around the lake which was very nice. The house was good enough for our 2 night ladies weekend, and the price was right, although we wished there had been a little more attention to details. Towels provided were old and mismatched and we had to locate them on the floor of the closet in a plastic bag, no wash cloths provided. House could’ve used a good dusting, most obvious dust was on baseboards. Closets were crowded with unnecessary stuff. Cabinet under kitchen sink seemed dirty (old sponges, etc). House is close to busy road, can hear traffic during the night (we were there in late fall and I’m assuming the traffic was lighter than during the warmer months). ##### Lorraine M.
