You are only a few min down the road to Wells though. The cottage was gorgeous, every room and very comfortable. Everything was there, we wanted for nothing. We spent a fair amount of time in the gazebo playing games, again very nice and also used the firepit. A short ride by some deer in the woods will take you to wells. A nice beach for the kids, w lifeguards. Uncle carls coffee is a great find here too. A couple of convenience stores that fill most needs and have good people and some food. We were able to set kayaks in a couple locations by the beach and near the dam. Fished some, but it was hot and we didnt have any luck. In about 20 minutes you can be in speculator w a legit grocery, some places to eat and some nice ice cream shoops and another swimming beach. Auger falls is a nice short hike only minutes from the cottage and worth it for sure. I really cant say enough about the beauty of this cottage and its location. We loved it here! ##### Richard C.
