"The Westin Hamburg might be the nicest hotel that I have ever stayed in. The rooms were outstanding with modern fixtures and very comfortable beds. The Westin is located the same building as Hamburg’s amazing Elbephilharmonie concert hall. A recommendation for guests: make a reservation in the bar on concert nights. Otherwise you will not be able to get a table and see the view of shipping traffic and lights along the Elbe River. "

"This property is pretty good for the value. I really like the easy check-in and -out. It's a 15 minute metro bus ride from the Hamburg Central Station. And the bus stops right outside the hotel (a plus). I didn't find this inconvenient (this is coming from a person who likes to walk everywhere. FYI, it takes about 30 minutes to walk. Would recommend staying as long as you like exercise because the key cards demagnetize if you look at them wrong — they must be praised and cajoled and need never be near anything that lets off the slightest electronic signal or you’ll be back downstairs to rekey the card yet again — 3 night stay and I think I had to do it about 8 times this trip.
