Good hotel, with excellent facilities. Very good breakfast, free wi-fi. Good soundproofing to rooms as no noise from funfair around the corner.
Approx 5 minute walk to U Bahn station with easy access to all tourist areas in Hamburg and 5 minute walk to Reeperbahn
Bed in room had a very firm mattress, which was uncomfortable after a while and did not give a good nights sleep.
Would use this hotel again if visiting Hamburg.
We go to Hamburg every year at the beginning of November and we always stay here - its a great hotel overlooking the river Elbe which is a busy bustling place with lots to see and lots do do - highly recommended.
Hotel was nice, taste wouldn't be for everyone as it is a bit quirky and quite dark in general.
Staff very helpful and happy.
Car parking seemed expensive 28 euro/day.
Breakfast was limited with little cooked options. Shame as the restaurant is nice for dinner but a little over priced.
I can't think of one thing that could have been better here. The hotels in Dubai should take lessons. The staff is competent, friendly and helpful. The facility itself is clean, everything works (no pluged up drains or wall sockets falling out of the wall-take note Dubai) Wireless, in room internet is available and works for 9.95 euro per day. Breakfast every morning was excellant. This is as good as it gets.

Modern white hotel located in the St. Pauli district, 200 metres from the Reeperbahn and two kilometres from the city centre …More
Hamburg's infamous red-light district, St Pauli is sliced down the middle by the notorious Reeperbahn, and has the city's best music venues and theatres. Prostitutes stand in shop windows on the men-only Herbertstrasse and the bars never close. Locals escape the scene by hitting the cafés in the Schanzenviertel, one kilometre away, while ferries and sightseeing tours leave from the docks of Landungsbrücken.
