We stayed in the signature tent houses and it was incredible. The ocean view from our tent was divine; the sun was streaming in on the patio all afternoon (meaning we read our books and watched the sea life), the sunset was stunning and we had a very good sleep in the comfortable bed. Exceptional Views!! Great Hospitality!! Absolute worth for the Vacation! Cari was the one who received us at the main entrance and explained everything well and she even helped us with walk through of other suites as well when we asked how other room look (no guests checked in at that time). We're spellbound by the views, you dont get to see them from any hotel in Nanaimo i believe. It's a homely atmosphere completely and great location! Susana was the perfect host, friendly (she spoke to me in french), professional and greeted me with a smile. The room showed some minor damage (it was probably why I had a good rate). Very nice hotel that I would recommand.

Stayed at the Cedars Inn for the first time because our usual hotel in Gibsons was full. We were happy at how great it turned out to be. The outdoor pool was really nice, the room was clean and the front desk attendants were accommodating and lovely. We would stay there again!

I've stayed in many different places for lengthy work trips, but this has definitely been among the best. Though the building may not seem like much from the outside, the suites are exceptional and provide everything required to be a home-away-from-home. Covered parkade and an elevator, good little restaurant nearby, short walk to the beach. The staffare exceptionally friendly and go out of their way to ensure you are content with your stay.
