The Prim Rose Inn is a true gem! It is perfectly situated, making it easy to stroll into the bustle of Bar Harbor, walk across to Bar Island or launch out for the day hiking. What makes it exceptional is the staff. Elle and Anna were so welcoming, provided invaluable info about great hikes, places to eat. Anna was there to greet me each night and we shared great conversations. Breakfast was delicious and arriving after 4pm to freshly baked treats was great! The kitchen staff were so...

This beautifully restored 19th-century inn is located conveniently close to the town’s bustling shops, restaurants, and waterfront, making it ideal for those who want to explore the best of Bar Harbor. The place was beautiful, the rooms are large and clean. It’s about 15 minute walk from the main street so location is good as well, not too crowded . Highly recommend .
Also noticed that gift shop prices at the hotel are actually slightly lower than in town if you want to buy any last minute souvenirs.
