"I liked the friendly staff. The style of the house is really nice. The only thing I didn’t like was that the washer and dryer is outdated and the washer only uses cold water for the price I paid it is expensive."

"We enjoyed everything in this nice hotel. Different breakfast and dinner each day, a lot of options.
Very nice onsen with outdoor area. Yukatas provided by hotel emphasized the overall atmosphere. Stunning view of Mt. Fuji - if weather allows."

"After spending 18 days in various hostels around Japan, and hundreds of days around the world, this one had been my absolute favorite. The best sleep I have gotten on my trip and the breakfast was an amazing treat. Walking distance to most sights."

"Excellent stay at The Prince. The hotel has little extra touches that make this a luxurious stay. The onsen is lovely with a great range of toiletries and The Lakeside Grill serves a delicious buffet dinner. Due to the location we opted against the Hakone loop with tons of tourists instead we did the boat cruise and ropeway from right next to the hotel. We also did the forest walk to the shrine (take water with you). A quiet area but perfect for a break after the craziness of Tokyo. Wished we were there for longer."
"We had a wonderful stay at Ten-yu. Our family absolutely loved the experience, it was incredibly relaxing, and the grounds were immaculate and peaceful to walk through.
The food was fantastic, with a great variety of thoughtfully prepared options that made every meal enjoyable. Our room was beautiful, spacious, and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to unwind.
Having a private onsen on the balcony was a highlight for our family. It allowed us to spend quality time together while relaxing in a serene setting.
We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend Ten-yu to anyone looking for a peaceful, luxurious, and memorable stay."
"Really great and easy to get to. I really appreciated having the free hotel shuttle from one Toyoko-inn to the other in the surrounding area. This made the transition within my budget and super easy. Staff was very kind and spoke English. The facilities was very big and super clean. My room was perfect for a solo traveller. Thank you."
"Balcony have a lovely view if you can look past the huge electrical pylon right outside.
Kitchen facilities and washing machine were really useful.
Room was very spacious and clean. Was great.
Breakfast had only choice between cereal (beautifully presented) or toast with scrambled egg and fruity cheese? Hot and cold drinks available.
Good base for exploring. I hired a car as bit isolated but free parking at hotel.
Got a full view of Mt Fuji from the balcony one morning so that was amazing."
"we were happy with everything in the hotel. Nothing to complain about. We were there to enjoy private Onsen and it was very nice. There is some Sulphur smell in the corridors but I guess, that is expected when you are near a hot spring."
"It was a clean and comfortable stay, conveniently located near the station and convenience stores, with friendly staff. You can ship your suitcase to the airport via the Kuroneko Yamato service inside the station, and the Tully's Coffee on the ground floor is a lovely space—this is also where you can pick up your complimentary breakfast."
"I was wowed. To be honest, pictures don’t do this justice. It’s a place you can get lost in- in the most beautiful way possible. It is the most scenic stay I’ve experienced to date. It inspires poetry and deep thought. It was my brilliant oasis. Thank you! My only qualms were the food- it was bit underwhelming for the price point; however, the dining view, opulence and careful care from staff made up for it a bit."
Hostels are a great way to stay for a good value, so you can save your money for exploring.
