We chose a room in the separate building, not the main one. I’m glad we did because the main building required shoes off and all luggage had to be wiped before entering because the entire place is lined with tatami mats. Minor inconvenience but I prefer not to have to take my shoes off everytime. The dinner was delicious and so was the buffet breakfast. They were also very accommodating with my dietary restrictions for the dinner set menu. Breakfast had a wide variety of options with a mix of western food and Japanese food but taste was average.
