"A very great place to stay near Ladysmith and Nanaimo. Perfect for a few nights. You can tell it is a newer building as everything is pristine and the beds are comfortable. The staff are outstanding and very accommodating to what you may need. I had a week long holiday and needed to clean some cloths and there’s a good washer and dryer on the main floor. Overall the washer, dryer and detergent cost $5 for a load. "

"The Sidney Waterfront Inn & Suites is such a lovely property. We booked a suite, which is located in the building adjacent to where you check in. I felt safe and comfortable knowing that after hours both the outside doors and elevator were code locked (code provided on check in). Not that there's anything to worry about since Sidney pretty much closes down after 9pm. The suite was very spacious and even had a balcony. The bed was firm but pleasant to sleep on for a long weekend. Lovely bathroom with shower and jacuzzi type soaker tub. We enjoyed a quick breakfast two mornings (very simple but everything I wanted for a quick bite). Everything in the Sidney downtown is walkable from this hotel. We'll definitely be back on our next visit. "
