POLICIES/RULES:

• NO SMOKING or VAPING allowed on the premises.

• This is a DOG FRIENDLY HOME (up to 50 pounds): A non-refundable pet fee of $92 per booking for each pet will be added to your rental if you choose to bring your pet. Maximum of 2 pets, contact us for additional pets and for breeds that are allowed. Pet(s) must be crated any time guest is not present.

• Maximum Occupancy: 7

• Must be 25 years old to reserve the home. Reservations made for teenagers or young single groups will not be honored without any accompanying adult staying in the unit at ALL times. We require at least one member of the party to be 25 years old.

• Parking: Off Street parking for 1 car in the driveway. Street parking available first come first serve with no pass required. Garage is not accessible to guests.

• Manager and owner of rental property are not responsible for citations received while staying at property.

• Be respectful of the house and contents - it is someone's home. Respect the neighbors and neighborhood.

• No events or parties- If determined that a party/event is taking place at property, management has the right to evict tenants and guests with no refund given.

• No uninvited guests without permission.

• Do not take bath towels to the beach.

• Photo ID may be required upon check-in.

• Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, and a Limited Damage Waiver Fee or Security Deposit. Additional fees may apply.

It was great there were just a couple small things that were irritating. The air did not work very well. It was 80 outside and the air could barely keep the house at 72. Otherwise the rooms and the house were very nice and the property managers were nice

Just ok.
We come to the island often as this was our home for many years. There were several issues with the home & backyard area. While the owner was promt to respond, there was no rectifying the situation during our stay. Extra charges per dog are not paid upfront. Upon arrival you're messaged to process through iTrips. The fee per pet is more than posted with an additional processing fee that was disclosed on VRBO post but not quantified. Although the property location is exactly where we wanted, we will not return. It's ok and has potential for improvements.

Thanksgiving in Galveston
We enjoyed this remodeled historic home located in the middle of many activities in Galveston. The off street parking was handy and the front porch very nice. I loved soaking in the claw foot tub! I think it could be much nicer if some small appliances worked and the furniture were a little newer.

Wonderful neighborhood, part of the island I have not explored. Kitchen was disorganized and allot of items needed to be cleaned, previous tenants had “cleaned” and put away-time to take an hour and clear it out, clean it up. Only one dish rag and no dish towel, which gets gross fast

Not quite clean, trash overflowing when we arrived
I understand the trash may only be picked up once a week, but being welcomed by a giant pile of trash is never a good sign (hint: you can get another cart from the city at no additional cost anywhere in TX). Trash could also be found all around the premises (discarded fast food bags/containers, spent aluminum foil, trashed foldable chairs, you name it). The beds were made, but I doubt the sheets were replaced, unless the cleaning crew purposely dumped a bunch of hair on/in the beds after changing the sheets. Given what was in the pile of trash in front of the house, it looks like the house is rented to people who come to Galveston to party, and maybe their expectations are not that high--if you fall in that category, the house might work for you. If you're a family and have slightly higher expectations, pass.

My family stayed the weekend here. The house was very clean and close to the beach. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs. Would most definitely stay again.
