"The rooms were clean, but could stand some updating. For example the ac unit was very old and made a LOT of noise when running. It was so loud you could not have a conversation easily. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were excellent and there was bar service at the pool. Lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas were available."

"When we arrived the front desk was very helpful answering our questions and Even offered us to switch rooms with an ocean view. The amenities were clean and the staff work helpful and friendly. The home2 location is pet friendly so if you have allergies with animals you may want to stay with the Hilton tru instead. Located facing the ocean on the main drag with many restaurant locations within walking distance. Would stay at again if traveling to Galveston"

"Easy parking, easy to navigate the building. A basic breakfast selection but does the job! Room was spacious, bed was super comfy. Internet streaming access. Great pool area, but was lacking towels. Very menial complaints that were outweighed by all the pros that this property offered."
