"The pub has been torn down and the rooms, while clean, are nothing special. We had to haul our bag up a long set of stairs, no elevator that we saw. It is close to Steveston which made it a fine place to stay. The bathroom had been remodeled, which made it feel a bit nicer. "

"I never used the swimming pool but it was nice to know there was one, the rooms were clean and the staff were wonderful the breakfast was amazing just didn't have any scrambled eggs they only had boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, danish, bread, waffles, instant oatmeal, fruit and yogurt."

"Check in was extremely fast and easy. Loved the location, water across the way and Cowichan Bay market. They were in the process of renovating the property but it had no effect on our stay. We booked the King suite, newly renovated, and loved the size and amenities. Full fridge, hot plate, fully supplied kitchen, a living room area with 4 chairs, and small balcony with 2 chairs. I would definitely book there again."
