"Most of Grand Lucayan is closed from hurricane Mathew but you don't know this until you arrive. All guests have to stay at Lighthouse point which is nice but with not nearly as many amenities. 2 less pools , less convenient dining options, the Casino never reopened. Some of the staff, outdoor bar. Towel hut, seemed to have lost that happy, helpful, attitude, one bartender was even rude everyday. We booked at a marina thinking it would be like in Spain with lots of cafes, restaurants, shops and things to see. We were extremely disappointed to find EVERYTHING was a cab ride away.
