We couldnt have asked for a nicer welcome to the island. The staff was eager to help and the friendliness was refreshing! During our stay of 5 nights anytime we had a request it was promptly taken care of.We had several meals at the wonderful restaurant located upstairs the drinks and food and service were top notch ! The entire staff make you feel welcomed and at home. They arranged the best taxi driver for us who picked us up and returned us everyday after each adventure. The location was close to the market and beaches but at the same time away from the crowds. We will be booking with Bell Channel Inn everytime we visit the Grand Bahamas from now on . The service and staff are excellent although limited in what they can assist on activities. The place is out of the way, it's best to rent a car. It's about 20 minutes walk to the Port Lucayan Market. Vibration from music from a quarter mile away can be heard, so if you're a light sleeper, this could be an issue.
