« The Rest Hotel in downtown Plymouth is a gem of a find! Quaint, cute, perfect location, perfect amenities, and the rooms were much better than "normal" hotels. However, the best part of our visit was the staff. They are caring, responsive, polite, and fun! My wife will only stay at the Rest Hotel when we return to Amador County Wine Country! »

« The new owners are working really hard to renovate this motel. The rooms are very comfortable, the place is very quiet. Yes there is a bit of a mess outside while work goes on but that can be overlooked. The owner is very nice and serviable. Breakfast is good but some bread and/or bagels would be a nice addition. »

« Overall, the bed was comfortable and the sheets were very clean. However, there was a strong smell of smoke in the room, and even ventilating the space didn't help. Even worse, some unknown device in the room kept vibrating and sounding an alarm; it emitted a piercing noise every few minutes throughout the entire night. We tried all night to figure out what was causing the sound but couldn't locate the source, which meant we didn't get any sleep. We had high expectations for this historic hotel...
