"Literally feel like you are on an island. Don't need to leave because the restaurant food is so good. But be aware, there is no A/C, so you will have to be aware of what the weather is."

"Came for a 2-night vacation just to get away from LA. The location was close to Ventura, Channel Islands, beaches, and the Ventura County Fair which we visited. The room was great, the buffet breakfast was pretty good, the gym was pretty good. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Enjoyed sitting by the pool and relaxing, althought the noise of the freeway was always in the background. I booked through Hotels.com, and I was surprised to get a 4.95 internet access fee which wasn't outlined previously but I was informed was standard with 3rd party bookings. Overall, however, we really enjoyed our stay."
