"I recently stayed at the Mark Spencer Hotel in Portland and it was an absolutely delightful experience! "Our stay was good- the location of the hotel was great, the room was modern and didnt have a carpet which I loved! Even though our room was close to the elevator, it was really quiet. The only thing I wouldnt give 5 stars for was the shower- the glass wall was somewhat small and didnt fully prevent water from splashing on the floor. The shower head was also not my favourite. Lack of fan made the bathroom really humid. It didnt affect our stay, just something I wanted to mention in case there will be some plans for improvements. "

"Hotel is great. Clean and excellent staff. Wasn’t aware they didn’t have a store for basic essentials or snacks until I saw a sign on counter. Not the safest to go to local CVS walking at night. Daytime is safer. Temp housing in the rear of hotel attracts PEH to be around at night. Self Parking next to hotel is great. "
