"The property was clean, spacious, and well stocked with plenty of towels, toiletries and kitchen necessities. Check in was extremely easy and the management team checked in to make sure everything was acceptable. We were there for a funeral so we did not get to check out the amenities, but we would definitely go back. Lovely area, excellent service."

"This cabin was exactly what we were looking for. We like staying in the laurel ridge area for convenience to the amenities of Big Canoe. It’s a short walk to the beach. The cabin is very spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need, even spices. We enjoyed playing ping pong tournaments at night and the game room is stocked with board games as well. My only suggestion is to provide a full curtain to cover the windows. Although the windows are beautiful and normally you would not want to shut off the view, but it would have been nice to cut the light when we watched a movie or took a nap. We would definitely return to Camp Paws."

"It was just perfect for us up for a wedding at the Tate House. Not too far up in the Big Canoe winding mountain roads so an easy drive/ride but still a nice view of mountain ridges. Close to pool & beach, pickleball courts & clubhouse. The house very clean, nice size rooms, comfy beds, kitchen has all the things! We very much enjoyed our stay and if we go back to BC we’d love to stay again."

"Cabin was in a beautiful setting. Big Canoe seems like a nice community. The location would be good during the summer as it’s an easy walk to the “beach”. Some things we think could be improved: 1. More info on amenities and prices in the community. Stating some things have fees and some don’t without stating what the amenities are just makes the whole thing more complicated. List them out so people can decide what to look into. 2. The downstairs had obvious water damage/mold. This can be hazardous for people with allergies, like our group. 3. This cabin had a flat driveway, but only parking for 2 cars. The last mile to the cabin however was very steep, and a one car width road with lots of houses. 4. Beds could use some upgrades. And the mattress covers could use replacing. For 600/night, it felt a little cheaply done bedding wise. "

"The cabin was so cozy and cute and perfect for our needs as an overflow house as our family’s house in Big Canoe had so many guests this year! It was clean and had everything I needed and I really enjoyed coffee out on the deck. The only downside is that I suffer from severe allergies and upon arriving I broke out in head to toe hives and had hives almost every night of my stay ….I’d highly recommend the owners get rid of the shag carpet in the rental for people like me with allergies. The rental agents however were VERY responsive and kind with all my questions about what detergents and products had been used in the house prior to my arrival. No one is at fault here - but shag rug is a BEAST for anyone with allergies! Also - you can’t beat the location of this house… and the sunrises were LOVELY out on the porch. "
