"The breakfast was not good. There was no coffee no juice and no plates. Only a few bread/ muffins and not many eggs. It was staffed with employees but no one was putting out more plates or food. Also the hotel had no Diet Coke so I was disappointed with that but the breakfast was the bug disappointment"

"The rooms were beautiful and very clean with a nice baloney over looking the lake. The breakfast was terrific and fresh cooked with made to order omlets. The only negative at this resort was there was no beach to go to on the lake except at Margaritville which we didn't want to go to because it is all slides witha beach and 60.00 each to go to."

"Minor plumbing leak in the bathtub area and only 1 of 2 elevators was functioning but the property was comfortable and the rooms and beds were excellent. Extremely friendly and competent staff was always at the ready to assist."

"Liked that I did not have to pay for parking as was the case last time. No problem finding parking spaces. Staff friendly, lobby and room very clean. Breakfast not bad but could have been a little better (Fruit bowl a little sparce, fruit not cut up enough, French toast strips hard). Room very nice, large, with good amenities. Very inviting, clean."

"I stayed at Doubletree with my boyfriend for a night while we explored Georgia. The hotel was great but what made it even better was the staff at the front desk. They were super friendly and even gave us recommendations for where to visit in Georgia. As corny as it sounds, they made us feel at home when we were far from home😄"
Tech Time: Secluded Treehouse Overlooking Creek

"The treehouse was very secluded even though it was only 2 miles from downtown. We enjoyed sitting out on the deck and listening to the creek. The treehouse was clean and well stocked. The host was quick to answer any questions."
