The 7,000+ acres of Big Canoe is spread over 7 mountains and 3 lakes. With 3 pools and a beach, a famous rock slide, kayaks and pontoon boats that can be rented, trout fishing, 27 holes of golf, and over 25 miles of hiking trails, you'll never run out of things to do…unless you want to! Outside there are even more hangout spaces – a dining area, 2 sofa swings, a gas BBQ grill, and a firetable on a large deck surrounded by the forest for those quiet evenings spending quality time with your favorite people. LIVING AREAS: “So many places and ways to relax and unwind and spend time with family and friends.” - Owners As you enter, you're taken to the fully equipped kitchen that opens up to the dining and the living areas. There's a dual Keurig coffee maker to keep the gang fueled up in-between adventures and a dedicated office space with a keyboard and monitor. The dining table between the kitchen and the living room seats 8 people. In the living room, you can sit back and relax on the comfy sofas or leather chairs. While there, gather round the coffee table that reveals an Infinity Gametable and choose from 100s of games for all ages. Or cue up a movie or your favorite show on the large flat screen Smart TV. Later, if there's a chill in the air, you can curl up by a crackling fire. Next to the main floor king suite, the living room opens up to a screened in porch with seating for 4\. This is a perfect space for your morning coffee. Make the most of beautiful weather and continue on to the outdoor dining area for unforgettable dinners. Everything we did was with the guest in mind.” - Owners Downstairs, there's a large living area with one of the stand-out features of this property – a dining table that can easily be converted into a ping pong table. While waiting on your turn to play ping pong, grab a seat and challenge a buddy to a wall game of Connect Four or Scrabble or set the new high score on the Arcade game in the corner! There are plenty of classic board games also. Put your feet up in the living room on the comfy sectional, catch up on your favorite TV show or a game. On this level, there's another king bedroom and bath and another work station. From this downstairs living area, you can access the covered porch and table with 4 seats and 2 hanging sofa swings. Fire up the gas BBQ grill on the deck and spread out for al fresco dining – there's plenty of room for everyone on the comfy outdoor sectional sofa and chairs by the firetable. After dark, the string lights and the firetable make this area magical! It will make this one of your favorite places! BEDS AND BATHS: On the main floor there's a beautiful king bedroom with lots of light, a full en-suite bath, a Jacuzzi tub, an LED/anti fog mirror and a Smart TV. The room has a private door leading out to the screened porch – you may want to call this one first ;). There's also a half bath by the entrance. Upstairs you'll find 2 bedrooms next to the arcade alcove – the yummy apple orchard king bedroom and the autumn bedroom with 2 twin beds. The bedrooms share a full bath with a tub/shower combo and its own LED/anti fog mirror. Downstairs there's the waterfall en-suite king bedroom with its own work station. You'll also find the laundry room with a full-size washer and a dryer and a separate door to access the driveway. • Main floor king with en-suite full bath and access to screened porch • Upstairs apple orchard king bedroom • Upstairs autumn room w/ 2 twin beds • Shared full bathroom between the rooms • Downstairs waterfall king bedroom w/ an en-suite bath • Adjustable LED-light frame on all mirrors • All bedrooms have Smart TVs. • Bedding and toiletries provided. THE AREA: “It's so beautiful and peaceful up here in the mountains. And unbelievably quiet. The calmness and the serenity envelopes you like a warm fuzzy blanket when you're here. The city feels like it's a million miles away.” – Owners The house itself is at the end of a quiet residential street and only a few minute's drive from all the activities that Big Canoe has to offer. Our guests can access the Big Canoe Beach Club amenities at Lake Disharoon for a fee. Their facilities are amazing and there's so much to do! They include: 200-foot Rockslide 300-yard sandy beachfront on Lake Disharoon Access to hiking trails Bathrooms with changing areas Dedicated beach volleyball area Inflatable water park for kids in the lake Large zero-entry swimming pool with chaise lounges Lifeguards certified by the American Red Cross Paddle Boats, Canoes, Kayaks, and Paddle Boards Roped off swimming section in the Lake In downtown Jasper, there are a few restaurants, a coffee house and a bakery. Be sure and catch some live music at The Old Mulehouse. They have great food in a historic setting and a Sunday Brunch. Within about 30mins – 2 hour -drive there are plenty of wineries, orchards, and dining – anything from casual country BBQ to world-class fine dining. Here are a few picks: Gibbs Gardens – 18mins Cairn View Winery – 20mins Old Mulehouse in Jasper – 25mins Fainting Goat Vineyards & Winery – 30mins B.J. Reece Orchards – 30mins The Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard & Winery – 45mins \---OTHER THINGS TO NOTE--- The road leading up the house is paved and there is a parking area for 3 cars next to the house. Navigating the roads up here can be tricky and we have found that Google Maps and Waze work the best. Your total reservation fee for this home includes a per-booking damage waiver fee, including any applicable taxes. The damage waiver ensures coverage for any accidental damage caused to the home or its contents, including appliances and furnishings, up to a maximum of $1,500\. Damage due to smoking and pets is excluded. To benefit from this coverage, you must report the incident to the host before you check out. A security deposit of $300 is required to hold your vacation rental reservation. This deposit will be automatically added to your reservation and charged at the time of booking. The deposit will be returned to you within 3 to 7 business days provided that the following provisions are met: · No damage is done to the property or its furnishings · There are no items missing from the property. · All keys are returned. · There are no violations of this agreement. The house is amazing and cozy, every room was so inviting we never wanted to leave. My husband is a NOMAD and he loves to explore, he was perfectly content the days we stayed here and didn’t adventure out. The kids loved the entire house especially the Alexa lol . The arcade games and game table were a huge hit as well. The play room leading out to the swings was their favorite place. We spent hours in those swings daily to just enjoy the outdoors. We had several deer in our backyard as well. That was awesome to see. Book here and you won’t regret it! ##### Aimee B.
