10/10 Excellent

"Staff were great. Parking there vs park and jet probably saved us the cost of the room lol."

Best Western Plus Port O'Call Hotel

8/10 Good

"We had a great 3 night stay recently over thanksgiving to visit family. Check in was easy and efficient. When we arrived to our large room for 6 we shortly discovered that the Murphy bed leg had come loose and was unable to be used in that condition. The staff were quick to get us another room however it was much smaller for our family so we requested if they could fix the bed leg that we would prefer to stay in our original room. Maintenance was there within 10 minutes and had the bed fixed immediately. The maintenance staff was kind, polite and worked efficiently to keep us happy in our room. 10/10"

"We were there 6 nights. The property is in a good location, great breakfast and front desk staff. That is why my rating was a 4. However, housekeeping was less than acceptable. We had only one day of proper, full housekeeping in our room the whole time. There was a missing light bulb the whole time, even though I left a note every day and told the front desk. We would leave by 10 each morning get back to the hotel between 8-9 at night to a room that hadn’t been made up. Then we would have to go to front desk get clean towels and other missing supplies. I sent an email to the Owner the first time this happened, and didn’t hear back. The second time the room was not made up, I sent an email to update him, no reply the whole time I was there. Thankfully the front desk staff were accommodating and helpful. When I checked out, I reiterated my displeasure with the ongoing housekeeping issues, and disappointment with not hearing back from the Owner and was told he was on vacation. I asked if someone was looking at his mail and was told the Manager was and I could speak with him. I was checking out, on a timeline for travel, so said no, at this point, I would expect him to respond to the Owners email, in his absence. A couple of hours later, I did hear back from the Manager via email, acknowledging the issue as a transition housekeeping problem that they were working on. I was given a credit that I was satisfied with."
