Barceló Aruba - All Inclusive

10/10 Excellent

"Overall, we had a great stay at Barceló Aruba. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the hotel's location is excellent—it's within walking distance of many restaurants, bars, and shops, making it easy to explore the area. The beach is definitely the highlight. The water is beautiful, and the sand is incredibly soft and powdery. The atmosphere throughout the resort is relaxing and enjoyable. The buffet was very good with a nice variety of food, although it would have been nice to have more availability for the specialty restaurants. It was especially difficult to get reservations for the hibachi restaurant. One thing to be aware of is that unless you upgrade to the VIP experience, the liquor selection is fairly limited. Many of the brands offered at the regular bars were unfamiliar and not what I expected from an all-inclusive resort. The resort has only one main pool, and it's on the smaller side, so it can feel crowded during busy times. Overall, I would recommend Barceló Aruba for its beautiful beach, clean accommodations, great location, and pleasant atmosphere. Just keep in mind the limited specialty dining reservations, smaller pool, and basic drink selection if you don't opt for the VIP upgrade."

Divi Aruba All Inclusive

"We loved just about everything about our stay. The resort is only a 10–15 minute drive from the airport, making arrival and departure very convenient. Most rooms are just a short walk to the beach, with several pathways leading directly to it. The beach was definitely the highlight. The water was crystal clear, warm, and calm, the sand was soft, and the constant trade winds made it comfortable to spend the entire day outside without feeling overly hot. The food was good overall. The buffet had a nice variety of breakfast and dinner options, was clean, and never felt overly crowded. The bars also served good food throughout the day, making it easy to grab lunch or a snack. Our biggest disappointment was the dinner reservation system. Reservations opened two days in advance, but it was still extremely difficult to get the restaurant or dining time we wanted. We traveled with a large group, but even trying to book smaller groups was frustrating. Considering the cost of this vacation, not being able to enjoy the specialty restaurants as expected was disappointing. There was also very little daytime entertainment. While there are several pools, the main pool is smaller than those at other all-inclusive resorts we’ve visited, and there is no swim-up bar. Overall, we had a fantastic vacation and loved Aruba. The beach alone is worth the trip. We’d definitely return to Aruba, but we’re not sure we’d stay at Divi again unless the reservation process improved."
