"This is a great location in central Banner Elk and Sugar Mountain if you don't want to drive way up a steep mountain road. We loved it, being from Fla we didn't have 4x4 for the snow and this location was great! The staff is wonderful! We enjoyed the fire pit(s) nightly. Lots of amenities for families. Basic utensils/plates/cups. No spices, sprays. Older but very clean and great set up for 2 adults and 3 teens. Perfect family vacation in a winter wonderland!!"

"We loved it here! I was so cozy and great space for our family. The only thing we were real bummed about was the pool being permanently closed on this property due to structure. It should probably be taken off of the pictures and amenities. The pool was one of the reasons we booked. Otherwise is was a great stay!"

"I have stayed at this location a few times and was satisfied with it in the past. This time, we had a death in the family and I tried to call bluegreen to cancel and was on hold for over 30 minutes on two serrated calls with no luck on reaching someone. We ended up staying one night out of the three we booked. We were really looking forward to the pool, but found out it is permanently closed due to structural issues. There is no indication in the advertising. The pool is falsely advertised. Also...

"This place was Awesome! Very clean and we could easily walk to downtown. Everyone was very friendly. Our first time to Blowing Rock and hopefully many more! The scenery is breathtaking! The town of Blowing rock is beautiful! .❤️ We went to Blowing Rock to escape the heat here in Tennessee. It was around 78 degrees compared to 98 degrees here. I would definitely recommend this motel and Blowing Rock! Is a wonderful town with many great restaurants and shops. "
