"Great family time with no distractions. Owner's communication was great. We had one issue that was resolved with 24 hours of sending the owner an email. Luis, the caretaker, and his wife were wonderful. They were really helpful, and we enjoyed meeting them and their son. "The room was great! I had a balcony overlooking the sea. I sat in the living room half the night just looking out the window at the well lit beach, while pretending to do work on my laptop. Downstairs, the restaurant had a nice vibe. I had the grilled shrimp tacos. They were amazing! I should have gotten an order for the road! Everything was great, from someone from reception walking me to my room, to the easy on-site parking. I will definitely be back. "

"I have been traveling to Mahahual for solo fishing adventures every year for at least the last 8 years, and I have always stayed at the Cabanas Del Doctor, and I always will! I don't need anything fancy, but for the very reasonable price of a room or cabana here you won't find anything even close to as good. Also, the woman who runs the hotel/cabanas is wonderful, I look forward to seeing her every year. Hope to be back again soon, thank you for everything once again!"
