"Property and room were very rustic. Second story balcony/walkway needed to be cleaned, there was a lot of cigarette ash on the balcony. Room needs to have some type of shelving below the TV. Parking area also needs to have more lighting. It is a diamond in the rough, we enjoyed our stay."

"I had a great night sleep. I drove to Richmond Kentucky from Chicago and check in wasn't until 3pm. I got there it was 1:40 and the young man told me that I couldn't check in yet. I said I need to get some rest, and the young man at the front desk went and asked his manager if I could check in early and he said yes. I was really happy because I had been on the road since 4:30 am and all I wanted was a bed and that is what I got. Thank you so much for attending to my needs. The halls smelled very good. I won't believe the talk about Red Roof Inn anymore I will stay again. I had a suite and it was nice with a microwave, sink to wash dishes, and a refrigerator in my room. I was well satisfied."

"I booked this hotel, partially based on the reviews that it was good for single travelers, and that was accurate assessment. Don't be fooled by the dated, lackluster exterior - my room had obviously been fairly recently renovated, and was secure, clean and comfortable. I was only there for a quick overnight stay, but if I'm ever back in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to book here again."

"Liked parking just outside our ground floor room door. Pleasant, efficient check-in man Jared gave us a room near the designated smoking area when he found out one of the guests was a smoker. Room was clean and furnishings were decent quality. Beds were comfortable and water pressure in shower was good. Water only warm, not hot one morning of two spent there. Hot breakfast was good for hotel food. Location seemed safe enough and there was a grocery store across the street. Lots of fast food, pizza, bar & grill food nearby, as well as gas stations/convenience stores. Interstate nearby but couldn't hear traffic from inside room. Bluegrass Heritage Museum in downtown Winchester, KY is worth visiting and all 3 floors are wheelchair accessible. Only 15 minutes to Fort Boonesborough and a Civil War fort across the river from it. Would definitely stay again if in the area."
