Woodland Escape is a cozy, family-friendly cabin just minutes from the Nada Tunnel, Natural Bridge, and Miguel’s Pizza. Nestled at the end of the road for added privacy, this cabin offers WiFi, a hot tub, and forest views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Relax by the electric fireplace, stream your favorite shows, or unwind around the outdoor fire pit after a day of exploring the Red River Gorge! The Space: Woodland Escape is your peaceful retreat surrounded by nature, offering comfort and convenience in a private wooded setting. Main Level \- Two private bedrooms, each with a queen bed and en suite bathroom \- Open living room with floor-to-ceiling windows, electric fireplace, and Smart TV \- Fully equipped kitchen with full-size appliances and cookware. \- Dining area and washer/dryer for guest use Upstairs \- Lofted area (no door) with twin trundle bed (sleeps 2) \- Smart TV with additional seating Exterior \- Private location at the end of the road \- Deck with dining area, hot tub, and forest views \- Firepit for relaxing evenings (guests are asked to provide their own firewood) \- Charcoal grill (guests are asked to bring their own charcoal and lighter fluid) Guest Access: Please ensure to enter a VALID and operational phone number into your account/ reservation as all of your information regarding your stay will be texted to your phone. Thank you! The Neighborhood: Located in the Twin Arch development with other cabins. Woodland Escape offers some seclusion because it is at the end of the road. Other Things to Note: \- RRG Getaways supplies a starter amount of the following: hand soap, one roll of paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags, dish soap, dish pods, laundry powder, and basic cleaning supplies. Any additional items needed will be the guest's responsibility to supply. We do not supply anything considered perishable or consumable, this includes but is not limited to, coffee, salt, pepper, oil and the like. \- Pets are allowed at this cabin. We charge a flat pet fee of $50 for up to two pets. Please be sure to add any pets to your reservation. If you do not see where to do so, reach out to us so we can apply our pet fee. \- We provide a starter amount of toiletries for guests (shampoo and body soap). \- There is a standard drip coffee maker. We provide coffee filters; guests are asked to bring their own coffee, creamer and sugar. \- Firewood is not provided, but you can purchase a bundle at any local gas station. \- There is wifi at this cabin and cell service tends to work great at the cabin depending on your provider. \- The cabin sits at the top of Twin Arch, which has a \*\*steep\*\*, paved road. 2WD can make it since the steepest section is paved. Icy conditions will make this road challenging to navigate. \- There might be construction ongoing within the neighborhood. If so, any noise would happen during normal working hours. We do not have information on construction schedules. The outdoor grill is more primitive with no lid to contain heat and no grilling utensils so flipping burgers will be done with a plastic spatula. The hot water tank is small so don't run more than 1 major water source at once especially showers, BRRR. There are window screens in closets so be careful of which windows you open. The main living room ceiling fan remote is hidden in a decorative vase on the coffee table. Both main closets are being used for cleaning supplies so unpacking with storage is difficult. There are no window coverings for some windows and doors. Lastly, check out should be at noon as this is a cabin built for up to 6 people and waking up, getting ready for the day, packing, feeding 6 people along with cleanup is difficult to manage. The access to the many trails in the Red River Gorge area made exploring fun!The cabin was a bit challenging to find so make sure to follow the link they provide. It would have been helpful to have the cabin name on a sign. I want to make mention to come prepared with essentials, like laundry soap, and coffee. They did have a small amount, but for a family of 6 we did need to head to the grocery store for the extra supplies.
