The hot tub is great and the views are breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay so much. We didn’t want to leave.!!! We also wanted a kitchen, washer and dryer, and a hot tub. We could not have chosen a better place to stay! The owners are gracious and have obviously put a lot of thought and care into their units. We had a lot of questions and host Amanda kindly answered everything. The location was perfect, giving us immediate access to all of the hiking and parks, and surprisingly only about an hour from Lexington.At her suggestion we did bring a couple of extra blankets in case we needed them (March trip) but were very comfortable. We also brought our own towels for the hot tub.It's a single shipping container so it's exactly as pictured - one large room with a separate NICE bathroom. The space is nice and the perfect size for 2 adults. We enjoyed the view and the hot tub and loved that it felt secluded. I would be careful on the drive up Star Gap since it’s a narrow road with some spots that are hard to see. We had some trucks coming down as we went up and there wasn’t really anywhere to move over, but we got lucky most of the time with no traffic going the other direction. We enjoyed Toad’s, Miguel’s, Gorge Underground, Auxier Trail, and Daniel Boone’s Coffee Shop (3 times!). Nothing was more than a 15 minute drive with the exception of the trail we chose being more like 25 minutes. Would stay in a shipping container cabin again! ##### Haley D.
