Pleasant mill house on the banks of the Sioule river, located in the Massif Central in Auvergne in Châteauneuf-les-Bains.
Near the Regional Park of the Volcanoes of Auvergne, Vulcania, Puy de Dôme, Puy de Sancy, the lakes of Auvergne and Vichy.

Country of wide open spaces with the CHAINE DES PUYS and its 80 volcanoes over 32km which has just been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Sioule valley, a beautiful river with magnificent landscapes, valleys, granite plateaus bordering the river.
And wooded areas, offer striking contrasts that will delight nature lovers.

Newly restored and decorated with a kitchen and living room of 28 m2 opening onto a balcony with a superb view of the river and the reach of the mill.

It will make you appreciate the calm and tranquility.

Stunning view
We had a long drive and we were met by both Bernard and Martine, they were very welcoming. Their place is lovely right on the river and what a view! We loved the balcony and sat watching the local fisherman fishing for salmon. Their place has been carefully decorated and we had everything we needed. It was very chilling being by the river and we had many walks along the the river. We climbed the puy de dome and loved Clermont Ferrand which was a lovely city. Sadly the thermal baths nearby were shut, we would have loved to have gone. Our bed was very comfortable and we left feeling feeling very chilled. Thank you Bernard and Martine for making our holiday memorable

Great location
Great location. Lovely property. Shame there is no garden, but there is a river bank 5 mins away. Would recommend to families who enjoy nature, walking and spotting wildlife.

Lovely property
Lovely apartment with contemporary fittings. Very comfortable beds. Small balcony for catching the afternoon sun. Supermarket 10 mins in car and restaurant with excellent food within walking distance. No local shop in village but bread can be ordered at local campsite.

Beautiful village and surrounding country. Apartment on the river, 5 star comfort. Our hosts were friendly and kind. The walks from the apartment were my favourite watching the fishermen and enjoying good weather and nature. Thank you Martine and Bernard.

Beautiful accommodation with a fantastic view
The property is nicely fitted out with all the mod cons you would need, and the owners even put a freezer in the property for us. Stunning setting overlooking the river, no garden but the balcony was great. The town is very quiet so you would need a car to get about with. A lovely 2 week stay, would recommend this property.

Superbly refurbished mill!
A very tasteful refurbishment, with everything you need for a comfortable holiday. The apartment overlooks the river, and the natural hot spring is a short walk away. The area is breathtaking, and the volcanoes of the Central Massif are also close by. We had a super stay!

Repos dans un cadre magnifique. Le gite est très agréable , aménagé avec gout et très bien équipé .Station thermale proche du gite ou le personnel est bienveillant , cure à recommander .La région vaut le détour avec de nombreux sites à visiter et de nombreux artisans locaux .

Ferien am Fluss
Die Ferienwohnung wurde sehr schön renoviert. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet und hatte alles was man braucht . Auch waren wir froh um die Waschmaschine und den Tumbler. Einzig was uns gefehlt hat, waren Liegestühle und einen Sonnenschirm zum relaxen.

Très belle location très bien équipée et décorée avec goût, bien située en bordure de la Sioule. Propriétaire très sympathique, à l'écoute et très disponible. La région se prête bien à la randonnée mais il est possible de faire du tourisme également. Nous recommandons +++++ cette location.

séjour au bord de la rivière
court séjour enchanteur dans cet ancien moulin rénové avec goût et qualité ; la rivière à nos pieds bouillonnait mais l’isolation parfaite du gîte nous a offert des nuits calmes et paisibles. Le village très peu fréquenté mérite pourtant une visite pour son église, son château , sa statue de notre dame de l’espérance et sa promenade au bord de l'eau . A la belle saison, il y a aussi les thermes...

Sejour tres agreable
Nous sommes accueillis tres chaleureusement par l'hote. Belle maison, balcon avec belle vue libre sur la riviere Sioule et les alentours, living pratique et agreable. Cuisine avec tout ce qu'il vous faut. Bon restaurant a 8 min. de marche (L'Escale). Chateauneuf-les-Bains est un village tres tranquille, pas beaucoup de touristes meme pendant la haute saison. On recommande les ballades Au fil de l'eau. Les volcans ne sont pas trop loin. Sejour tres reussi! Juste une petite remarque: les portes etc. sont trop petites pour les gens de plus de 1.80 m. Donc il faut faire attention.
