Wouldn’t stay here again
I booked this VRBO for my two small kids, husband and I to stay at while visiting NC. When we arrived, my kids immediately wanted to go swimming. The backyard was a complete disaster. The grass had not been mowed in weeks and the pool was super dirty. Services did come and clean the pool and mowed the grass the next day but had to wait around all day for them. I did not encourage my kids to play in the yard as we found poison ivy in many areas. The unheated pool didn’t seem like it would be a problem had there been a hot tub as listed, but there was no hot tub. The house was fine, had all basic needs but nothing above and beyond. The floors were dirty so I vacuumed and swept myself while there. I booked this house for the pool and that ended up being a disappointment and not used. I wouldn’t recommend this house to a friend.

Cozy quiet place. Loved walking around the neighborhood during the fall season. My brothers and I had a great time, and are planning to come back next season. If there was a negative it would be that the pool didn’t have a heater, but we cold plumed anyway

My family and I enjoyed a quiet weekend in Matthew's. It was close to malls, aquarium and other stops in our itinerary. The house had all the amenities we needed and more.

Family weekend getaway
We loved this house for our family. The neighborhood was quiet and felt very safe. It was close enough to everything we wanted to do. The master shower was difficult to use and the TV options were not the best. There were no local channels or cable. Besides those things we loved everything else.

Nice pool house
We had a wonderful time. Wish we could have stayed longer. The weather was perfect. Only issues we didn't like the no curtains in the living room/dining rm and in the master bathroom there was a sheer curtain.
