The Rainbow is close to Honquaio Airport and tran station and yet closeenough to down town.
Check in is actually ok - the hotel a bit dated, but not bad at all for the money. I would definatly recommend it.
The only negative is getting a Taxi - that can be a real pain and you will easily loose it with the people outside who do little to help. Better to walk down the road and hail one for yourself
Overall the hotel is clean and acceptable. The rooms are a little small. The breakfast offered for free was not good at all. It has a decent size gym with free weights. The toilet flushing power is below average. The front desk staff could speak English. The room cleaners were honest and sincere. I had to switch room during my stay and she brought me my cellphone charger that I left behind in my old room hours later.
At check in Kan Khao helped me and was very helpful, upgraded my room due to last experiece at this hotel and new room was superb. Had a good stay, breakfast good, close to everywhere I needed to Be. Thank you Sheraton
Pricing is reasonable, and you get what you'd expect. Clean room, moderate size, decent comfort all round. Bed is not as hard as some other reviewers have complained about. Only downside is that hotel is a solid 12-15m walk to the nearest subway, but taxis are reasonably priced in Shanghai. Service staff were excellent.
This district is known for its domestic airport, expatriate community, and zoo. The latter encompasses 74 hectares and is home to more than 600 species, including a giant panda. Upscale apartments and villas are high in number here and complement the many shops catering to workers from around the globe. Other highlights include the expansive Zhongshan Park, Shanghai Children’s Museum, and Liu Hai Su Art Center.
